Web5 Aug 2006 · This IFR is the fuel metering for both the idle circuit and the transfer slot circuit. If your idle screws are 3 - 4 turns out, good bet this is your problem. Side note: The Holley BLUE anti stick gaskets SUCX they emitt particals after they get wet for a while. They will jam your fuel inlet. They SUCX - big time. Good Luck. Michael T thekingofazle Web16 May 2008 · reinstall the carburetor and setup your idle system. Before you start the engine, examine the fuel bowl side of the throttle body. Hopefully you'll see a little tube, covered by a rubber plug. This vacuum port connects with a passage in the throttle body that 'sees' manifold vacuum.

So idle control shouldn't be active correct? Is correcting the lean spike as simple as adding fuel to that area of the table since it's in deceleration and not Learning at that point? Web24 May 2024 · It's just off idle at low RPM/throttle and it goes into Open Loop. One other thing I noticed was it was very hard to start this morning, like it has too much timing. But settings are 15° at cranking, and 18° at idle. It also felt like the battery was dead ish, but it checked out at a solid 12.9V at rest.
