WebDec 17, 2024 · Joed12345! I have a Trol-A-Temp zone control on a hot air system with 2 zones. I tried to install a NEST wi fi thermostat to replace the main (master) thermostat. After multiple calls to customer service they finally figured out that the 2 zones are set up as master/slave and told me that NEST cannot work with a master/slave configuration.
