WebIf you take the side panels off at the rad area you will see two studs/nuts at the bottom of the grille area. The studs face the rad,nuts to the back. Loosen the nuts and lift the hood, the studs sit in a slot. BTW the side panels clip into the hood at the top side,and mount into a rubber/spring retainer at the bottom.

It is true the park break is a weak point and expensive to fix , but this is a very good tractor over all.We put a 510 CIH loader on it about 5 years back, so it is the back up loader, and now has over 6000 hr.
