WebSep 4, 2024 · Up until recently the only sights I've swapped out have been on Glock pistols and I have always removed them from L to R and installed them R to L. Last year I swapped out the sights on a Walther PPS M2 and the rear OEM sight has a proprietary coil pin located underneath. The dovetail has a one-way tapered trough in it for this coil pin.
